Project Overview

Kanz Jordan stands as Jordan's pioneering civic engagement startup, serving as a hub for forward-thinking projects. Its mission is to educate Jordanian youth on civic rights, tolerance, and active citizenship. Moreover, it strives to empower and equip young people with essential leadership and critical thinking abilities by cultivating a culture of dialogue that celebrates diversity and equality.

The Challenge

Since its founding in 2017, Kanz Jordan had a clear mission: to educate and empower Jordanian youth on civic rights, tolerance, and leadership. However, without a unified presence, the organization struggled to effectively communicate its values and connect with the young audience it aimed to empower. The challenge lay in creating a cohesive identity that could reflect their mission and resonate deeply with their diverse audience.

The Solution

Through a series of collaborative strategy sessions with the Kanz Jordan team, a new brand identity was crafted from the ground up. This included designing a modern, versatile logo that captured the organization’s essence—embodying unity, progress, and diversity. Alongside the visual identity, a fresh communication strategy was developed to clearly articulate Kanz Jordan’s values and vision. Every element, from color schemes to typography, was chosen to resonate with youth, symbolizing empowerment and inclusivity. The new identity also included a tagline that succinctly reflected their forward-thinking mission, while the messaging as a whole reinforced their unwavering commitment to youth empowerment. The result is a brand that now speaks directly to the hearts of young Jordanians, positioning Kanz Jordan as a leader in civic engagement.

The design emphasizes creating a strong "visual and emotional connection" between the logo symbol and the brand name, ensuring both elements resonate deeply with the target audience. The logo symbol creatively integrates the name "Kanz"—meaning "treasure"—while visually depicting youth standing shoulder to shoulder or back to back, symbolizing unity and solidarity. This design choice embodies the brand’s core values of collaboration and empowerment, aligning with Kanz Jordan’s mission to foster a sense of community and mutual support.
